Allied Health for NDIS, DVA & WorkCover in Brisbane

Who is eligible for MOVE NDIS appointments:
NDIS approved patients with a current case which is funded by the NDIS or funding Body of the NDIS. Patients must have approved funding for allied health appointments.

Who can receive funding by the NDIS
If you meet the Age, residence, Disability and early intervention requirements criteria, you may be eligible for NDIS support, to find out more please visit the NDIS website.

Payment and processing:
Once we create your case with us using the information above, we invoice your case manager/ NDIS directly after your appointments so there is no need to worry about organising payment on the day of the appointment. If you have a self managed NDIS case please let us know so we can arrange for you to be billed in the way that works best for you.

Which of our services are eligible for NDIS funding
Osteopathy, physiotherapy, podiatry and clinical rehab classes are all eligible for NDIS funding depending on the condition the patient displays. However, each individual NDIS case may only be eligible for specific treatments. This must be disclosed through your case manager.

Who is eligible for MOVE DVA appointments:
White card and gold card holders are eligible to book in DVA appointments.

Who can receive funding by DVA for allied health:
Veterans who have served in the Australian defence force. And have an approved condition and need for treatment.

Payments and processing:
Our reception team processes DVA claims for patients in the clinic, there is no need for payment on the day.

Please note for osteopathy, physiotherapy and podiatry appointments we will need you to request a referral from your GP, this referral is valid for 12 appointments then you will need to request an updated referral.

Who is eligible for MOVE Workcover appointments:
If you have sustained an injury at work and have an approved workcover claim.

Who can receive funding by Workcover for allied health:
You will need your GP to complete a Workcover work capacity certificate and apply to the Workcover scheme. Once your claim is approved you will be eligible for funding. Your injury and treatment period will be listed.

Payment and processing:
If you have an approved Workcover case and you have provided us with your Workcover work capacity certificate, we can create a case for you where we will directly bill Workcover for your approved sessions.

Chronic disease management plans, AKA: Team care arrangement plans through medicare: 

Who is eligible for MOVE CDM appointments:
Individuals with an in date chronic disease management plan, which has been sent to us by their GP and signed by the treating practitioner. This enables patients to be eligible for 5 ‘medicare’ appointments per calendar year.

Who can receive a CDM:
Individuals with a chronic condition/s identified by their treating general practitioner, who deems that allied health intervention would be of benefit to the ongoing treatment and care of said chronic condition/s.

Payment and processing:
After the appointment, we will process the medicare claim for the patient. This involves firstly paying the full treatment fee, and then receiving the medicare rebate, refunded directly into the individuals account.

The reception team will need to receive a copy of your chronic disease management plan along with paperwork for team care arrangement; this can be organised through your GP to us directly or you can bring a hard copy of the paperwork into the clinic.
